Aboud Legal is an incorporated legal practice based in Brisbane, Australia.

Aboud Legal’s principal, Jocelyn Aboud GAICD, has over 28 years’ experience as a lawyer, including seven years working in-house in the higher education and research sector. Previously, Jocelyn was the head of the research legal team within Legal Services at The University of Queensland (UQ). In that role, Jocelyn managed over 4,000 research contracts, including major projects such as the COVID-19 vaccine, and led the team of research lawyers.

Prior to her role at UQ, Jocelyn held senior in-house legal roles, including the Associate General Counsel at ENERGEX Limited, Acting General Counsel at ENERGEX Limited and the 2IC to the VP Legal at Arrow Energy Pty Ltd. In addition, Jocelyn practised in private legal practice as a Senior Associate at King & Wood Mallesons (Technology, Communications and Intellectual Property Group).
